Will my AC failure or heat damage affect your offer?

No. Miramar’s climate destroys air conditioning systems constantly. We expect AC problems in nearly every vehicle we evaluate. Dead compressors, refrigerant leaks, or non-functional units don’t reduce what we pay. It’s factored into the baseline quote.

Can I sell a car that’s been sitting for years in my driveway?

Yes. Vehicles left parked through multiple seasons are common. Sitting doesn’t disqualify anything—it just means rust, stale fuel, and potential mechanical degradation. We still purchase it and still pay fairly.

Do I need the original title to sell my vehicle to you?

Not necessarily. If you don’t have it, we use your registration and valid ID instead. Florida allows this for vehicles 10+ years old. We handle the paperwork ourselves; you bring documentation showing ownership.

What if my transmission or engine is completely dead?

That’s routine for us. Major mechanical failure doesn’t disqualify a sale—it just factors into our offer. We’ve purchased thousands of vehicles with failed transmissions, seized engines, and extensive damage.

Will you buy my car if I still owe money on it?

Not if there’s an active line. The lender owns interest in the vehicle until the loan is paid off. Get the line released first, then we can proceed. If the loan is settled, ownership transfers cleanly to us.

What happens if my registration shows a different address than where I currently live?

Not a problem. Your photo ID is what we verify, not residential history. Registration address mismatches happen constantly and don’t block sales. Current ID is the only requirement.

Can both owners sell together if a vehicle is registered to two people?

Ideally, yes. Joint registration means both parties should authorize the sale. They don’t need to like each other, just coordinate the transaction. If one person has legal power of attorney, that sometimes works alone.

Will you buy my car if it’s parked in an apartment complex or condo lot?

Yes. Let us know about access when scheduling and we confirm towing is manageable. Communal parking areas, restricted lots, and managed communities are handled regularly. Just communicate parking restrictions upfront.
